The Noise Within: Breaking Unhealthy Patterns and Tinnitus Workshop

A  Creative Self-Development Programme

Dr Julianne Mullen will be teaching Breaking Unhealthy Patterns that cause anxiety and distress triggered by Tinnitus and other Functional Disorders

Time: 11am – 3pm

Fee: £60

Venue: Enfield Town

(further details will be provided upon booking)

This practical workshop, based on The Noise within Tinnitus: A gateway to mental health stability,  will address the deeper psychological meaning of acute anxiety and other emotions induced by the involuntary perception of tinnitus and other functional disorders; migraine, dizziness, chronic pain, depression, fibromyalgia,. It is suitable for those experiencing tinnitus, professionals who work with clients suffering from bothersome tinnitus AND those experiencing painful emotions that impact physical and mental wellbeing.

During the workshop you will explore The Noise Within Tinnitus as a way of becoming curious about the deeper meaning of tinnitus and FDs therefore, less fearful of the perception along with the emotions it typically triggers. You will creatively explore the pre-existing emotional and psychological blocks tinnitus illuminates, in order to break free from unhealthy habits and self-limiting beliefs, to enjoy a happier and healthier life and a more balanced relationship to both tinnitus and the underlying emotional responses.

You will be taught how to develop coping strategies and problem-solving skills in order to maximise your ability to manage the symptom effectively. You will also be introduced to relaxation techniques to reduce anxiety and enhance overall wellbeing. The reorientation of your emotional response and attitude towards tinnitus will serve to reduce your perceptual awareness of the symptom.

Client testimonial

As a long term victim of chronic tinnitus, the workshop was hugely beneficial to me. Outside of the creative ways Julianne helped us confront and make sense of the condition, it was so helpful to be part of a group that really “got it” as far as tinnitus is concerned and who are setting out to do something positive about it. A great day in so many ways. Thank you Julianne, see you at the next one!”
